Nāma-japa is devotional repetition of a divine name, widely practiced in many public bhakti settings. Initiation-dependent mantra sādhana belongs to a particular lineage or authorized ritual framework and may involve restrictions on the formula, pronunciation, eligibility or accompanying actions. These categories can overlap in religious language, but public familiarity with a name does not authorize every specialized use of it. ShivGoraksh should offer accessible explanations of public devotion while separating restricted instructions and not claiming the role of a guru. Whether a particular mantra is initiation-required must be reviewed with reference to its tradition, not guessed from the presence of Sanskrit words alone.
